EMPAGLIFOZIN
Empagliflozin works by inhibiting the sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT-2) found in the proximal tubules in the kidneys. Through SGLT-2 inhibition, empagliflozin reduces renal reabsorption of glucose and increases urinary excretion of glucose.

Einagliptin is an inhibitor of DPP-4, an enzyme that degrades the incretin hormones glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP)
INDICATIONS
Indicates as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
